Mall Networks Hires Former American Express Executive Dennis Tze as Vice President of Client Services


Industry veteran brings to Mall Networks more than 15 years of experience in loyalty programs, consumer marketing, merchant relations and strategic consulting


LEXINGTON, Mass. - December 03, 2007- Mall Networks, the leading provider of merchant-funded loyalty shopping solutions, today announced that it has appointed Dennis Tze vice president of client services. Tze brings more than 15 years of experience in loyalty programs, consumer marketing, merchant relations and strategic consulting to the Mall Networks senior management team.

Tze will be responsible for managing and growing Mall Networks client programs to achieve client satisfaction and revenue goals. Those activities include strategic engagement planning, program execution, consumer marketing and account management.

Prior to Mall Networks, Tze spent more than 10 years at American Express in a variety of roles. Most recently, he was vice president of marketing for OPEN, the Small Business Network. There, Tze developed and led acquisition and loyalty programs including OPEN Savings, a unique $100 million discount program for the market-leading business unit focused on issuing cards to small businesses. He grew the program by 60 percent in one year through signing new deals and enhancing small business marketing and merchant partnerships, including FedEx, JetBlue Airways, Marriott Hotels and Gateway Computers.

Tze also previously served as vice president of business transformation for American Express Consumer Card Services Group. In that role, he served on the executive team of Amex’s largest business group to spearhead an effort to transform businesses processes that generate new revenue and drive expenses down. He led a team of more than 100 people that transformed online, direct mail and phone marketing programs for card acquisition and retention.

Tze held other positions within American Express, including vice president of new business and e-commerce development for Merchant Services, where he created ShopAmex, American Express’ leading Membership Rewards redemption mall. He also was the director for the Office of the Vice Chairman and senior manager of strategy for Customer Servicing.

Before American Express, Tze was at a Big Six consulting firm. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from McGill University in Montreal, and a Master of Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business in London, Ontario.
