Product Manager
Responsibilities include:
- Research market requirements and gather strategic direction and feature level details from customer interactions, competitive analysis, market trends, and other sources
- Document business requirements, detailed functional requirements, and work with designers on user experience as part of product development lifecycle
- Interact with development to support coding, testing, and release of product
- Serve as product expert and resource for sales, marketing, and service teams
- Develop definitions of whole solution and interact and coordinate with other departments to build plans to deliver the solution
Experience:
- 3+ years of product management experience for software and/or internet companies
- Ideal candidate brings experience in related enterprise software markets (eg, CRM, Marketing Automation, e-Commerce, Analytics/BI, Enterprise Search, Content Management) and/or internet markets (eg B2C e-Commerce, Internet Search, B2C web businesses, Web 2.0 businesses, etc.)
- Ideal candidate has experience working in or with financial services, travel, hospitality, or retail industries
- Strong software and technology background and ability to go "toe-to-toe" with development
- Demonstrated ability to lead and participate effectively in cross-functional teams
- Experience working closely with development, QA, sales, marketing, and services teams
- College degree or equivalent experience required. MBA and/or technical degrees are valued
