Director of Professional Services

About the position:

Based in Lexington, Massachusetts, Mall Networks is the leading provider of online malls and loyalty shopping solutions that increase revenue strengthen customer loyalty and improve member engagement.

We're looking for a Director of Professional Services to actively manage multiple client projects throughout all phases of project implementations. This includes, scope definition/refinement, project documentation, and the general project management of both the client and internal teams. Primary functions within this role include internal resource planning and management, customer management; appropriate expectation setting and insuring those expectations are not only met, but exceeded. The person selected will also be responsible for project scheduling, effective communication internal as well as external, managing overall project scope and providing necessary feedback to project stakeholders.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
  • Manage Mall Networks project team
  • Schedule and manage Mall Network implementation resources
  • Proactively manage all steps of a project and ensuring final deliverable provided to client is of the highest quality
  • Effectively manage colleagues and counterparts and build successful relationships in Mall Networks as well as with external vendors/partners
  • Understand and manage projects to control costs and ensure timelines are met
  • Facilitate a team of appropriate individuals to staff projects
  • Communicate with the team on a regular basis to ensure project quality and adherence to specifications and timeline
  • Communicate consistently with clients on behalf of Account Manager/Executive to implement project phases, inform client of progress and to answer questions related to the project
  • Must be highly responsive and anticipate possible solutions to project-related problems / challenges
  • Assure all internal processes associated with a project are adhered to inclusive of paperwork, internal communication and scheduling
EDUCATIONAL / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum of 10 years successful project management with a track record of project implementations
  • Minimum of 5 years managing cross discipline teams
  • Solid understanding of ecommerce and internet technologies
  • Capable of independently managing the execution of implementation projects and interfacing effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors
  • Must be exceptional at multitasking and prioritizing various project-related tasks
  • Must demonstrate leadership skills, team-building skills, and the ability to motivate others (including colleagues who do not report directly to you)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization as well as external clients
  • Dedicated to working hard as part of a dynamic group and as part of a team dedicated to success
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, MS Project, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work on multiple projects across different levels
